RIP; Martin Luther 1483-1546
Martin Luther; the great religious revolutionary has unexpectably died of natural causes last week on the 18th of February 1546. We need to take time to remember and revere the efforts he put into making changes to the unfair and criticized practices and values of the Church.
His family would like to thank everyone for all their support at this difficult time.
The last words written by this great man were:- "Know that no one can have indulged in the Holy Writers sufficiently, unless he has governed churches for a hundred years with the prophets, such as Elijah and Elisha, John the Baptist, Christ and the apostles... We are beggars: this is true."
His funeral service will be held at St Johns this coming Sunday after mass. All are invited to attend.
